Akihiko Kayaba was many things. A genius, an innovator, a madman, etc... Unfortunately for the various pantheons, he wasn't exactly "Human" either, and by extension, neither were some of the beings who got stuck in SAO. What will the aftermath of the SAO incident be like with the supernatural thrown into the mix? Only time will tell.

What looks to be a wonderful world spawned from the genius mind of Kayaba Akihiko, the creator of the Nerve Gear, however soon turns out to be an elaborate ruse since on the first day of public access, players discover they cannot log out, as the game creator is holding them captive unless they reach the 100th floor of the game's tower and defeat the final boss. When they reach her, they expect her to be awake and send a sarcastic remark for not knocking, but instead, she is still unconscious and shows no signs of waking up soon. Then, Kirito gets an email from Agil with a picture, and in it was of a girl with snow white hair and icy blue eyes and wings made of crystal.
