Seven days. Regina fell apart for seven days at the loss of her best friend. A best friend that could of been something more. There was no goodbye nor a reason that she could find. Thomas Rickel had everything to live for. But now he lies six feet underground. Just like that. Seven days of condolences and grief counseling. Seven days of blaming herself for not seeing the signs. None of it made sense to her in those seven days. Just seven days.
On the eighth day, a letter arrives for her on her doorstep

Now being led by a series of notes and clues, suddenly the suicides of her town start looking like staged deaths. The only problem is, is that no one but her support group believes her. Together they agree that the killings must stop, and it is their responsibility to find the killer and bring him to justice.

And it isn't long till Riley does drown herself among those gray memories, shutting and shunning the world forever, in a place too far to reach. She is already so gone, that every one of her friends and family are very close to giving up, and on each tick of the clock Riley is close to letting go.
