Persephone and Hades

"Tell me, could you stay silent if you heard ghosts scream? Do you think a man could rule over hell, over elysium alone? To understand the dead you must first know life and to listen to the lonely you cannot be like a king. I was picking flowers, yes but no man could capture me. The souls of the dead called to me from beneath the roses and the trees. And I was young, but not in love, I was wild and I was free. So I ventured down underneath and made myself a crown of leaves to be the queen of those loved and lost. Long before the rise of men I was the Goddess of death, Hades couldn't give me a fruit I already had. m.l."
This is the story about Persephone, the destined ruler of the Underworld, and the man training her to do it, Hades.
