Octavia Devoe is a woman who knows what she wants, when she wants it, and how she wants it done. Men kiss and praise the ground she walks on, but she pays them no mind for she has an empire to run. She's a 'no nonsense' kind of girl who would NEVER put up with anyone's bullshit; after all, how else would she have climbed the ranks in becoming the C.E.O of a multimillion-dollar empire? She doesn't take disrespect or involve herself in relationships, that's all until a deal she made with her dad years ago comes back to bite her in the ass.

Orion Winslow is the polar opposite of Octavia, he's a bachelor, and shows it. Throwing a new house party every week, one-night standing any girl that shows him a sliver of interest (which it isn't hard to find someone interested in him considering the fact that he is sex on legs), impulsive, and didn't work for anything a day in his life, including the C.E.O position that fell into his lap when his dad stepped down from his multiple multimillion dollar companies. He's arrogant and full of himself; he's everything Octavia hates in a man.
