Throughout history there have been many religions who worshiped different pantheons of gods. But what if those gods never truly existed, but their names held the power. Now what if i were to tell you that the "gods" were just magi who bonded with a foci with the name of the god, and that's who it really was in all of those myths? Well that's true in koya and Ethan's world, they are on the run from a secret organization who is after all of the god enchantments to accomplish their unknown plan. While our two main characters try to figure out ways to stop all of this madness they are also trying to deal with the complications of losing loved ones, making new friends and of course the inevitable stress of romance. Will they be able to survive all of this and stop the organizations plan? read to find out ;)

The Reluctant Hero.
The story is set in Niriyain, an interdimensional prison world where those who enter can never leave. Cal, the son of two prisoners-Suilenroc, a thief, and Akemit, a disgraced nurse-has spent his life resenting the chains of a system that punishes him for the crimes of his parents. Living on the outskirts of society, Cal survives by helping others in need, especially the orphans and outcasts of the outer rim. One day, Cal takes a job to scavenge in the mysterious Unknown Region, an uncharted and dangerous part of Niriyain. There, he and his companions awaken the Unbeknownst, a godlike entity tied to Niriyain itself. The Unbeknownst tests the group, and only Cal passes. As a reward, the entity offers him a wish, but when Cal asks for ultimate power, the Unbeknownst can only partially grant it due to the restrictions of its kind. Instead, it transforms Cal into its herald, granting him the Power of Tri-control over the mind, body, and soul. Now imbued with incredible but dangerous abilities, Cal struggles with his new identity. The power begins to alienate him from those around him, even as he feels the weight of the Unbeknownst's expectations. Meanwhile, the ruling High Council-a group of ruthless overseers who maintain strict control over Niriyain-becomes aware of Cal's newfound power and sees him as a threat to their secret plans. Going to spy school is fantastic and so is living with their aunt and uncle but that doesn't go well when Manny's enemy finds them again. Elsa finds friends and they go by the name DEMONS in school and try to not get killed at least for the highschool year. What deal can DEMONS make to keep everyone safe for the remaing school year?
