When Clint Barton found Natasha Romanoff that special day in Budapest, he also found her with a little girl. Not her own of course, but it might as well have been. Her name was Kai and she was an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. But even her strange life, the strangest thing to ever happen was when a letter appeared on her thirteenth birthdays telling her she was a wizard.

He had many nannies and such to care for her, but that didn't make the girl care for her father any less. She was actually a certified surgeon, but she also had degrees in other fields to do with computers, medicine, robotics, and things like that. As soon as she had graduated, she was able to get a job as a doctor for S.H.I.E.L.D. Her father didn't know about her job, but he knew she was working as a doctor somewhere. Mercedes kept quite a bit from her father, one thing being her boyfriend. He didn't know of the man his daughter was in love with. He didn't know that the man was almost eight years older than his daughter. He didn't know that the man was an agent for S.H.I.E.L.D. What happens when Tony Stark finds out about all of the secrets Mercedes had kept from him over the years?
