Double Trouble is an adventure packed story about a boy named Peter in the 19th Century. He soon finds a job as an upper class family's servant after his parents left him on the streets when he was just 11. 

However, the daughter of the family, Emily, was to find out about Peter's life and join him on the streets. Emily hated her life as a posh girl and wished she was never in it.
