Many years ago, I was afflicted with a horrible curse that transformed me into a frog. The following pages make up a memoir based on an abridgement of the diary I kept in the year succeeding my transformation and chronicles the events that ensued as I travelled from my homeland to weird and wondrous new places in search of a cure to my affliction. I hope that this memoir will prove useful to anybody similarly afflicted, and will be of some interest to others. Kind Regards - Gandleforth.

[OOC: This is the novelisation of my first experience as a player in a fantasy TTRPG, written from the perspective of my wizard character. Given the disjointed nature of the campaign we went on I expect this book to be more character-driven than anything else, so if the plot's a little haphazard, I can only apologise on my DM's behalf.]

Rose Dursley: The Girl Who Lived by ems-kitty-xx
35 parts Complete
Harry Potter, the boy who lived. The most famous boy in the wizarding world has to be hidden. After his parents are killed, Dumbledore has to make sure Harry is never found by Voldemort. So he uses powerful magic to transform Harry into a girl. Now called Rose, she is brought up by her aunt and uncle, the Dursleys. Dumbledore also changes their memories so they believe that Rose is their own daughter. As she grows up, Rose learns nothing about the wizarding world, or her true identity. That is until she turns 11, and a letter arrives to invite her to Hogwarts. As Rose gets older, she learns all about magic, but she also learns more about her own feelings and starts to question her identity. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ A/N. So I had the idea of writing a version of the story where Harry was born a girl, but there are loads like that already, so I thought I would try instead doing a kind of LGBTQ+ version where he is transformed and then has to deal with experiencing this difference of gender identity. But I'm not very knowledgeable about all the gender identity stuff, so I'm sorry if I get anything wrong, and please feel free to message me so I can try and fix it. Also, trigger warning; the story gets a bit dark after he comes out as trans male. He has to deal with the conflict from other characters that don't accept his identity at first. So some of the mean ones are transphobic and misgendering etc. But I'm going to let you know now that there will be a happy ending eventually, so hopefully it won't be too hard to get through the difficult parts.

Edit (March 5, 2021): All credit for the cover goes to @yarHime I know that a lot of people aren't going to read this but I'm gonna write it anyway! So this is going to be with a fem reader(sorry if thats not ur gender), the first one or two parts are going to just be background info and I encourage you to read them so that way the rest of the story makes sense. I'm also going into this with no kind of layout or plan WHATSOEVER, so we're just gonna see how this goes. I'm going to have an insane updating schedule and I'm sorry for that, but school sucks and homework is inevitably going to get in the way. Enjoy! ⚠️WARNING!!: NONE OF THE TALES OF ARCADIA SHOWS LR CHARACTERS BELONG TO ME!! I ONLY OWN Y/N AND HORNBEAM!!⚠️ Edit (November 30, 2020): this story has been scrapped, stopping somewhere in the 6th episode, "Killahead, Part One". I lost motivation and couldn't work on this without cringing. It stays published for the people who (surprisingly) enjoyed it.
