Michael is an agent for the US witness protection service, in which he was keeping his sister under protection from being murdered by her ex-husband after he had threatened to frame her for a bank he robbed back two years ago in 1981.
Soon after, she went missing whilst he was on a trip to his office, which had her vunerable at the time. Michael claimed to his work that this was an utter mistake and that he would find her and be responsible of the consequences.
Now it is being debated by the head office if he's fired or not.
Michael and Jamie's parents are still
unaware of what was going on, including the issues with Jamie's ex-husband.
