In the world of Remnant many stories and legends are considered nothing more then fairy tales. But to most people in this world, they know these fairy tales are real. 

Witness as a fairy tale lost in time slowly reveals itself, with old and new characters. How will the story of Rwby be effected by this old legend? and what new dangers will come from this?

The Extra characters in this story are created by me and any art I use for those characters are drawn by me.

The year this story takes place in is 2022. In an AU where the Fall of Beacon never happened and the students were able to continue their time normally at Beacon and Summer wasn't dead, Team RWBY is kicked out of Beacon in their third year. After a bit of a ghost encounter and a small increase in ghost sightings across Vale, they decide to do what others won't. Fight the ghosts with tech from Atlas. Remnant is a land full of legends and stories. Some are more popularly known such The Story of the Seasons and the legend of the Silver-Warriors. However, there is one legend that has been long forgotten and buried deep in Remnant's history. This is the legend of The Grimm Hunter, a creature of terrible power that was believed to have terrorized Humanity before the four Kingdoms were established and shortly after Humanity discovered Dust. It's been depicted to be an amalgamation of different Grimm with the ability to absorb the life-force of any creature with a soul. Not only did doing so regenerate any dealt wounds, but also allowed it to convert it into dark and destructive energy. Even though The Grimm Hunter was a creature of darkness itself, it also slaughtered Grimm with the same level of ferocity it showed Humanity. However, just as it seemed The Grimm Hunter would eradicate all of Humanity, it vanished without a trace. Not many know what happened to it but the legend speculates that a squadron of Silver-Eyed Warriors defeated it. But, that's not the truth, now is it?
