Princess Rever of Enfer had everything she could ever want, except for freedom beyond the palace walls. Confined for ten years without a friend in the world besides her mothers, she decided she's had enough. However, the world beyond exceeds all expectations, as she meets a stranger who ends up being not too strange after all, but instead her long-estranged cousin, the Princess of Paradisea- the sworn enemy of Enfer.
Now she must continue the friendship in secret on top of making sure her father- the fearsome Shadow King- doesn't find her either, all while keeping her mothers assured of her safety and wellbeing. Will it all be worth it? Or is this doomed to crumble, leaving Rever regretting having ever stepped foot Beyond the Palace Walls?
