Devastated would be an ample word to describe how I felt after losing this story. I thought about rewriting it, but had the thought- why fix something that wasn't broken? Hedge's telling of it was a masterpiece. Ultimately, I caved. I missed the characters too much and there's something about this story that makes me feel like myself again, so, here we are. After getting permission from Hedge✔️ and scouring the internet for any lost bits of his writing✔️ I began the rendition. Hedge left while his story was still unfinished, so chapters 1-21 are entirely his, and I'll be continuing and finishing the book (and series) beyond that. My dream for this book would to be to edit/finish it and hand off the polished, completed version back to Hedge to publish. The literary community is too starved for lgbt representation, especially in the girl/girl department, and this book is like a lifeline. Thanks guys!!Complete
