Nell's new to Gotham, working a shitty diner job and living in an even shittier apartment. Although this apartment may have been a blessing in the form of her sweet neighbour Edward Nashton. Nell will soon come to learn she isn't the only one hiding a dark secret in the city.
** I just wanted to make it clear that I will be stretching out the events of The Batman movie. I know it all happens in a few days but I will be dragging it out for content's sake.

This is my own personal version of how our lovable Dr. Harleen Quinzel fell in love with the psychopathic clown known as The Joker. This will be a dark story. I mean, it is about Joker and his story isn't a pretty one. There will be dark, mature themes in this book. It is not for the faint of heart. That being said, if you are not comfortable with this, then skip those parts. I will have them marked, and I will leave subtle hint, so you get the basic gist of what happened. People dropped like flies. Bodies washed up on the shores of Gotham Pier. They were found in alleys, garbage cans, high in trees, splattered on the street. Everywhere. The Gotham City Police Department couldn't keep up, not with all the bank robberies and corruption they had to deal with. And who was better to ask for help than the Greatest Detectives in the world? Oh, and Nico is there too. **This is kinda a one-shot series, but there might be an overarching story across a few chapters.**
