Forensic anthropology student Alice Wheeler had thought she'd seen it all. From her studies under Dr. Temperance Brennan at the Jeffersonian Institute, she'd encountered the skeletal remains of burn victims, the drowned, warriors from ancient civilizations, and World War casualties. However, seeing the sludge of rotting flesh could not prepare her for the body that arrived early that morning.
From the decomposition stage to the glass fragments found in the eye sockets of the victim, this body was an exact match to the fictional writings of her twin brother Aiden. When she's put under FBI surveillance, she wonders if her brother is capable of such things. As more bodies keep popping up, she can't help but worry that she's next.
