The Ancient Sorceress ~Loki x Bucky AU~

All across time, people were destined to be paired with a soulmate. Most people never objected to soulmates. Marks would randomly appear on peoples skin, signifying who their mate was...like a representation. They were called "soul marks". It was rumored that some people might have had more than one soulmate.

A seemingly perfect baby, with shining white hair, appeared on the doorstep of a young families cottage. It was the year 1682 in Salem, Massachusetts. Over time, that little baby grew up to be a beautiful girl. She was different than the rest of the people in her village.

As the townspeople began prosecuting witches, Shadow...the young child...discovered she had powers. Afraid of what might become of their family, her parents sent her away, causing her to go on the run. She fled south, spending time in different cities before she ended up in New York.

During the year 2012, extraordinary people formed a team in order to protect the Earth. They fought against aliens in order to restore peace to their home. They gained unexpected team members along the way. Later on, they would be tested as another person from the past is taken in.

They were a group full of damaged souls, but as family, there was no sacrifice too great that would stop her from saving them.
