'Looking at the school from afar, it looks exactly like all the films and TV programmes. Even the people seem to act the same. Something tells me that the cool kids back home wouldn't stand a chance here, which means only one thing; I'll be eaten alive.'

Cassie Hunter isn't what you'd call popular. It's not that she's bullied or anything, but she's the quiet (and slightly mean) girl with good grades at the back of the class with no apparent friends. In fact, her only real friend is her cousin. But when her parents divorce and her father gets custody of her and her mother gets her super popular sister Heather, Cassie is forced to move to America for her dad's new job. Determined to make new friends and fit in, Cassie sets out to make a new life for herself on the other side of the Atlantic, with some quite interesting consequences.
A story of love, family and the constant struggle of fitting in with the crowd as a teen.
