As he embarks on a journey for answers, exploring mysterious levels and encountering near death far too many times to count, it's lucky he meets some pretty cool people to help him along the way. They'll do anything in their power to keep George safe on his expedition to find out the truth.

Synopsis-- Dream, a wanted criminal has been fleeing from village to village after carelessly slaughtering thousands of innocent citizens. Security thinks they are into him, but are thrown off when the green hooded male takes an unexpected turn. The intimidating murderer stoped off at one of the smallest villages and threatens a British brunette by the name of George, to let him stay in his house and keep all his location details a secret. George being the goody two shoes he is, hesitates, this would surely ruin his perfect reputation but it was his life on the line. The brunette reluctantly agrees feeling helpless against the mass murderer front of him. Soon the two become comfortable around each other, and George realizes that the more time they spend with each other, the more he wants his new roommate to stay with him. Unfortunately, George's closest friend becomes jealous, and after realizing that the culprit might be staying longer, he rats out Dream's location, leaving nothing but George and his shattered fragile soul... "No don't take him! He isn't the bad guy here! Please wait!" George shouted as he was forcefully held back by security. The short brunette watched as the love of his life was slowly being taken away from him. Eventually George was all alone, the happiness had been drained from his heart. He got up and slowly made his way to the fireplace, he sat their wishing the warmth it radiated, belonged to the man that brought joy to his life. George is immediately thrown into another place full of danger and surprises at every turn. When Dream learns of George's disappearance, he immediately follows him down. Dream is determined to protect his friend, or will they be more than that? As a strong bond only gets stronger, plans of war loom over their heads. They'll need an army to make this happen. Travelling across the world to live with your best friends whom you've never met is terrifying enough, especially with everything that's going on back home. But George manages to find happiness in the arms of his best friend. His very, very hot best friend... A DNF story featuring Dream, George, Sapnap, Karl and Quackity! (And perhaps a smidge of KarlNap) Story contains quite a lot of Smut and mild angst as well as emetophobia warnings and abuse, if you are not comfortable with these themes I kindly suggest you don't read this. They start to remember. Even though they aren't meant to. But Memories have a way of returning, especially when they should stay forgotten for our own good. Scattered across a vast, dangerous island, a few people wake up with no recollection of who they are or how they got there. Drawn together by chance, instinct and faith, they must find out what happened. As a group, they go on an adventurous journey to find themselves and their memories, beat monsters and fight for their team, their family, meeting new allies along the way. To Protect
Dream struggles to fight off Nightmare who is taking over him, making him hurt those he loves and kill. At first he convinces himself he's being destructive and evil for George, so that George will never be in danger and could do what he wants but it is soon made clear Dream is not the one making the decisions over his own actions. Set as if Minecraft was real with canon lives. Occasional Sapnap POV and George POV. A lot of dialogue for the first chapters was taken from several streams but after that it is made up including the story. Songs are incorporated but don't need to be listened to, to read.
