Scarlet is the adopted sister of Bloom Peters. When Bloom sets their house on fire by accident Scarlet shares her power over the shadows. When Farah Dowling, Head Mistress over Alfea school for Fairies and Specialists, comes to help Bloom she is surprised by Scarlet. In the end, both girls end up going to Alfea. But this is only the beginning. One struggles with her powers, the other to let her past go. Will they grow together or will new powers at be tare them apart?
