The Lion's Lair

Woke up from hearing a slight knocked in a wood which i thought i was dreaming at first.
I waited a bit for another repeated sound but it was so impossible to hear clearly under against the heavy downpour.

Thunderstorms knocked the powers out the entire village that left me wide eyed.Thanks for the storms lightning, i could see in a flash every now and then.
I couldn't see and hear properly but something deep down woke me that wasn't right and it never did once failed me.

I was scanning my sight to what possibly i could trace, murmuring under my breath to PLEASE BE WRONG but then in an open frame next to my room,there was something.

Somebody was there.

Even though it was pitch dark,i could trace the black figure in the dark.

There's a man sitting in the dark.

That i almost catched my breath fearing if its a phantom or not.

He finally even spoke "GOOD EVENING....
FORGIVE THE INTRUSION..."

i mustered all my fears and gulp it all down to asks WHO ARE YOU?

but he just answers "NOTHING IN PARTICULAR...."

there's something in the pit of my stomach that couldn't seem to understand between fear for dear life or anger that somebody was inside my room that i asks out of the blue HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN HERE?

"..A LITTLE WHILE.......

....JUST WATCHING YOU SLEEP....."

Short Plot twist story inspired from a movie.the version of my WHAT IF's but so as not to damage the original,i've changed the names & some few stuffs.This is just for fun & for killing my boredom,don't take so seriously.

And there's probably some few languages but that's just about it.no worries,i ain't that creative enough to wrote down further past beyond that😅
