[y/n] and dawn (oc) had been best friends for forever. so when they suggested that [y/n] watched their new hyper fixation, mo dao zu shi, they weren't that opposed to the idea. [y/n] fell hard. [y/n] had watched the entire series and read the manhua and the novels in 2 months flat. even though they were in college, they had loads of spare time on their hands because they procrastinated often.

when [y/n] and dawn hung out, ranting about their newly found hyper fixation and how much they adored it in [y/n]'s dorm room, just like that, a black hole opened up above the two best friends, swallowing them both whole as the both of them screamed and wailed at the top of their lungs. Next thing they knew, they had both fallen into a densely forested area in a place that looked like ancient china. the fall that they had taken was not pretty.
