The UNSC have won the war against the Covenant empire and now the galaxy is starting to rebuild after the war. I have a secret that I don't share with most. I've been swept up into something bigger than anything I could ever imagine, and now I'm involved with more than just this one world. Battle Group Zeta (MCU/Halo Crossover)
The Galaxy is burning as the brutal Human Covenant War enters its 8th Year. Billions of Humans and Covenant Species alike had already fallen prey to violence created by False Fanaticism. Hundreds of Worlds have been burned and turned to glass, by either Plasma Bombardment or Nuclear Fire. Their Atmosphere boiling away and the Oceans evaporated, leaving behind death charred Worlds. The Outer Colony of New Glasgow is under siege by Covenant and an UNSC Battle Group, named Battle Group Zeta, barely escapes from the Battle. However because of fate and machinations of a device of Precursor Origin, they were far flung from their War torn Universe to a new Universe where the difference between Magic and Technology is almost null. Halo: Operation X
2560, a ring like structure has been found in uncharted space by a human exploration ship. They reported the structure as, "A giant ring, with what looks like an Earth like surface, with water, mountains, and grass, with the outside gray frame pulsating with blue lights." Everyone in the surrounding area tried to track the ship and contact them. They were never heard from again. The UNSC traced the signal to unknown coordinates, and are enroute to establish contact, as they believe the ring structure to be a Halo ring. A dangerous weapon built by Forerunners to wipe out the galaxy, and ran by Covenant. I am a marine, designation Sierra Mike 115, my squad and I will be one of the first to touch down on the ring. The UNSA, after learning of its history, formed an alliance with Remnant and welcomed it into the UNSA interplanetary sphere. You're a member of SCAR, SATO's Naval Special Warfare Group who's recently been stationed on Remnant to garrison the planet, and defend it from any extra-solar threats. The war with the covenant has driven humanity to the brink of extinction, the outer colony's have been glassed and the UNSC navy has been reduced to a fraction of what it once was. But there was hope, with the discovery of a forerunner relic that could turn ships into men with the full power of the ships themselves. This lead to the creation of several ships, one of them being the UNSC S/N. A Paris class heavy frigate, he along with the battle group he was apart of were out fighting the covenant who had also found a similar artifact, had been using sanghili ships to fight the UNSC. During one of these conflicts S/N was forced to make a jump with a damaged Slipspace drive, the result was that him and one of the covenants corvettes were pulled into a portal. By the year 2015 humans have developed practical means of interstellar travel, but as they expand further out into the Milky Way, they disturb a previously unknown race of alien beings. Very shortly after the USAs United National Space Command [UNSC] discovers their exsitence, the aliens, known as Ecarians, send several scouting parties out to find the humans planet. One of the scouting parties lands outside of Des Plaines, Illinois which has a heavy population of supernaturals. One of them, a Sergeant from the local SWAT team by the name of Zuton Cruton, befriends one of the aliens, Zorra. She convinces the leader of their squad, Will, who is also the Deputy of the aliens, to ask to call off the attack. He aggrees, but his request is harshly denied and he and several other aliens defect to the humans side just in time for the invasion by the Ecarian Space Navy [ESN] of Earth... Quick description of the Ecarians: They have claw-like hands, pupil-less eyes of any color, and hair that can be any color and/or color combination.Complete
