Life as an Ottoman Sultana was hard because you have to play the game of thrones to survive. However, the Ottoman Empire's game of thrones is different than any you have heard of, to survive it you need a son who will give you the power to upgrade from a concubine to a Sultana, and then it is the battle of survival, and making sure that son grows up and survive the cruelty of the world and the other sultanas. The other step is making sure that your son gets on the throne otherwise he will be executed by his own flesh and blood for fear of being overthrown.

If your son becomes the sultan then it is your job to ensure that he rules fairly and with justice. However, the biggest mission of the Valide Sultan is to help her son get heirs, male heirs, and to ensure his bloodline by sending him concubines to bed and breed so he has as many heirs as possible who will be raised like sheep for slaughter like their father was before them but survived and became the strongest lion and in the end, only one Sehzade can ascend the throne and the bloody game starts all over again.

This idea came to me after watching the famous show "Magnificent Century". The plotline will be changed in the future so my characters get the ending I want for them to have.

He was born to rule, on land and high in the skies. She, it seemed, was born to reign over him. He had defied all odds in his life. She was hell-bent on deifying him. Murtasim Shahnawaz Khan's destiny had been written for him; to take over his family's ancestral seat as a feudal lord and live his life for the people. He'd altered destiny. A man of iron-clad principles, he'd silenced all who dared to question him by becoming Khan Murtasim Khan and Captain Khan simultaneously. He did his duty and indulged in his passion. Why did he have to choose one? He made the rules after all... Meerab Waqas Ahmed didn't like rules. Especially ones made to control her, or any woman for that matter. Out with the old, in with the 'whatever the hell I want to do' was the way it worked in Meerab's world. If this meant deifying family tradition to pave her own way in the world, then she was willing to pay the price for her independence. They say if you play with fire, you're bound to burn, but doesn't ice burn the warm-blooded too? Fire and ice went hand in hand, just like desire and destruction. A Tere Bin AU Note: This story is not completely 'mature'. It may include parts which are mature, but can be enjoyed otherwise as well. This wonderful, amazing cover is by moonshine1_ 🤍
