(NOTE: THIS DIDN'T HAPPEN IRL. THIS STORY IS BASED ON A RE-OCCURRING DREAM I'VE BEEN HAVING, AND BTW, THIS WAS WHEN BRADY AND LARRAY WERE STILL TOGETHER.) Okay, so basically, some of the parts of this story is from my POV (Sofia), and it's about me and my besties going to LA for our gap year. For those who don't know, a gap year is just a fancy way of saying we took a year off after highschool to chill, vibe, and not think about college yet. The plan was simple: we'd explore LA, live our best lives, and try not to stress about what comes next. We did not expect anything crazy to happen-like, no meeting celebs or wild Hollywood moments. Just us, good vibes, and lots of fun. But OH. MY. GOD. Plot twist: we accidentally (and I swear it was unintentional, okay??) met my actual celebrity crush, Brady Potter. π« Yeah, THAT Brady Potter. And not just him-the whole crew: Larri (iconic, obviously), Mario, Ravon, Issa, and Nadia. Like, how does that even happen?! Anyway, long story short, we ended up kind of... living with them for the year? Like, we all just clicked, and next thing we knew, we were part of their everyday lives-hanging out, going on adventures, and just vibing like it was no big deal. I'm not gonna lie, the whole thing felt like a fever dream (in the best way possible). Me and my friends kept saying, "This is literally the most unexpected gap year ever," and honestly? Facts.
Meet Cherry, the girl who really isn't much of a girl to be completely honest. She's nice, cheerful, cheeky in an incredibly childish way, is a looks-like-a-kitten-but-is-actually-a-tiger type person. She has a twin brother that drives her totally nuts and a mother that is caring but will laugh in your face when you get told off by the school's headmaster.
Upon finding out about her father's promotion overseas in Florida, her life takes a wild turn, for better but also for worse.
Now meet Brett, the guy who thinks he's a big bad boy, when really, he is the looks-like-a-tiger-but-is-actually-a-kitten type person. Typical, I know- the female protagonist of this strangely typical cliche story agrees.
Put the two of them together, and what do you get? Mayhem, that's for sure.
