The only difference is, is that her secret is that she's part dragon. Her sister is supposed to slay anything mystical creature especially dragons but she doesn't know her secret or her best friend's. At least not yet or him hers and you know what's funny? He's got a huge crush on her. She's also adopted so that's why she's a dragon too. Although not American. She wasn't born American anyways. They don't exactly know each other's secret as of right now and so she have no one to help her. Looks like she's on her own she never belonged with humans anyways. All the while learning about the dead father he never knew but loved him more than anything and died for him in more ways than one.

They learn about the alternate version of their college campus and begin to deal with rival magic gangs, shadow magic, dangerous creatures, and more, all while trying to keep up with studies in their own world and the magical one.
