Karthik Reddy, a professor, his marriage was fixed with his cousin, Aadhira Naidu, his father's sister's daughter. Aadhira, precisely his Aadhu, had been someone he was in love with, ever since she was born. Ever since she held his finger with her little hand when he had gone to visit her in the hospital.

Growing up with him Aadhira had also started to like him for the way he always used to be around her, help her in her studies, always be there for her whenever she needed was something she had always admired in him. Their engagement date was fixed for two days after when she would be discharged from the hospital. They both were all set for the engagement. Just only one thing remained incomplete, the happiness of their engagement, that was missing on both their faces.
