Jaune Arc was only just going to train himself behind his family's back using the family's heirloom passed down from his great grandfather. But suddenly a voice echoes around him as he was training alone...or supposedly alone.
Unbeknownst to him, his father has kept a secret from him about the true nature of the Crocea Mors, and now that 'secret' offered a deal to our wimp of a soon-to-be leader of a certain team, offered a pact to be a better fighter.

Jaune Arc was never the strongest, but he had the will and determination to pursue his goal no matter what he faced. Though that all changed when after saving the bully who made his life miserable, he decided to reveal that Jaune faked his way into beacon and soon he lost everything. His friends abandoned him, his family disowned him, and everybody tried their best to turn his life into a living hell. He was soon left beaten and broken in the middle of a forest in mistral to be killed by the grimm, but that never happened. A mysterious person happened to stumble upon him and saw the potential that he carried and thus changed Jaune's destiny, for the better or for the worst. Jaune Arc was anything but normal jumping to one hyperfixation, breaking it down, and then optimizing it with new logic, before getting bored with it then jumping to another But then he saw his sisters spar with his father and new ideas and inspiration flood his brain, that's how he discovered he love for fighting since no one fight would be the same Combine that with the fact that his dream of being a hero being a Hunter is something he would be even if he had to cheat his way in (Basically Jaune being like Isagi because I love Isagi's mindset of being death and rebirth) (I don't own RWBY that goes to Viz Media)
