As a magazine writer at the Smash Hits Magazine Company , Gabrielle had been writing articles for famous musicians and artists for 4 years. Until one day, her uncle Frank Jones, editor in chief of Smash, assigned her as the writer for their magazine's first full feature of the popular band, Def Leppard in exchange for a promotion as Managing Editor. Gabrielle accepted the job, leading her to meet the band she's been idolizing since college and meeting with the handsome, arrogant bassist of the band, Rick Savage. The bassist hated her the moment he saw her and she felt the same way. But sometimes, hate hides a stronger feeling, which is love. Something that both of them can't seem to admit even to themselves. And since then their love/hate relationship kept sailing.
