Death out of the Country

"Death out of the Country" follows Francisco Roberts to El Santuario, Argentina where he must
identify his father, Dr. Arnold Roberts' dead body. During his brief stay in the secluded college town, Francisco discovers how his father was murdered and with South America having one of the highest unsolved murder rates in the world, Francisco worries that his father’s case will end up in a forgotten pile on a police desk. So he tries his hand at finding his father’s killer. But his concentration is side tracked when he discovers the secret affair between his father and one of his students, Victoria Montenegro. To keep his mind off his father’s infidelities, Francisco continues to search for answers, but things are harder than he imagined when the University and town are hostile towards him. All except Joey, a journalist from the school paper and Ley, an LSD loving Physicist who believes in a conspiracy that could explain the Professor’s death. A conspiracy that involves Victoria and the faculty at the University.
