"Secondly-" he was cut off abruptly by a knock on the door. "Damn imbiciles don't listen. COME IN!" he yelled, seething with anger. The door opened as a young woman walked in. Her thin body was dressed in a maid outfit that had all sorts of dark stains and blotches on the apron. "Excuse me, sir. May I have a word?" she stuttered nervously, her eyes growing larger when they fell upon Kattherina. "Unlike you, my time is precious. Just spit it out you twit." he snarled at her, causing the woman to cower back in fear. "As you wish, sir. I am to inform you of Prince Daemon's arrival." "You fool. You wasted my time for this? " he growled, his eyes turning dark. "Consider me informed." Before Kattherina knew what was happening, Raphael had gotten up and closed his hands around the young woman's neck. A sickeningly loud snap echoed through the room. As he removed his hands, the woman's body fell limply to the floor. Without giving her body a second glance, he stalked back to his chair, took a large gulp from his glass, and then slammed it against the wooden table as he put it down.

The cell was so quiet, I could hear my own heartbeat in the silence. This was far worse than pin-drop silence, this silence was deafening. I breathed out a puff of hot air as I tried desperately to keep warm, the concrete was so cold my rump felt numb from sitting on it for such a long time. The sounds of the metals unbolting from each other brought relief to my ears. The figure that passed those doors came in with an aura that had long irritated me to the core. He came forward and if not for my restraints he would have been knocking into the nearest wall. The smile on his face made me glare at him as though knives would come darting at him. " My, my little witch. I wouldn't suggest any form of violence. Your execution awaits you". I tugged harshly at my sage restraints as I tried to get a hold of him. " You'll be shocked at the amount of joy that piece of information gives me, I would rather die than kneel before your Alpha any day!!". He inclined his head and said "So be it".
