At 24 years old Eliza de' Medici she is the uncrowned second queen of England. Now the mother of seven young children she must navigate through the world and fight for the future of her husband and her kids by herself. As the York Court becomes more and more divisive she makes enemies of the Earl of Warwick and her husband's mother Cecily Neville and encounters terrible truths about her husband's brother George. To counter their influence and what she believes is a threat to her family she allies herself with her husband's brothers Edmond and Richard and brings her Woodville relatives back to court after encouraging the marriages of her Woodville cousins Elizabeth and Jackie to the Dukes of Norfolk and Ruthland. Brought back to a court that is more divisive than ever Eliza must learn to watch out for her family and her rights as she navigate a terrible world in which the biggest threat to the house of York is no longer the house of Lancaster, but enemies within their own family.
