Inside and Out

After visiting her Aunt in Tenoma, Amanda is left scarred for life by someone she doesn't even know. Feeling used and unclean, she struggles to get back on her feet and get herself back. But can she..? When no one cares? She'd give away even her own life thread for just one thing: for her mother to understand her and ask her how she feels.

Laura, Amanda's mother, has her own troubles to deal with. She knows more about guilt and depression better than anyone, even her daughter Amanda. Having already made so many mistakes in the past, she wonders if she is even a good mother. Confiding in her best friend is easier than coming clean and telling Amanda the truth.

Jeffrey, Amanda's childhood friend, is a struggling Christian. Living one day at a time, he struggles to forget about the past and focus on his future. He is not ready for the big change in his life, but he is willing to adapt for the sake of his mother's happiness.

These three people go through daily struggles in life. Pretending to be happy on the outside... meanwhile, falling apart on the inside.
