This is a story about how a twelve year old girl (Melanie) was on a mission trip and was attacked by an unknown type of shark. Melanie still fought to teach herself to hide the fact that she lost an arm and a leg. Melanie is able to do everything even from before the attack she had the ability to make everyone believe that she is normal. Well everyone except her boyfriend who she meets during the mission trip while grocery shopping for the other girls. This story was inspired by the amazing true story of Bethany Hamilton and her fight to get backup on the surf board.
Oh and I just decided to add a few surprises that you might not see coming. I know I'm devious.

**** I wrote this book in 2014 as a Senior in High School. I'm sure it's full of grammatical and spelling errors as well as potholes.
