A hundred years after the revolution, the world prospers in large part due to the growing leader in technology: SoulTech. Along with their breakthroughs in science, they spread their vision of comfort and bliss across the globe, affecting human culture in the process. In short, mankind took on the motto: do what makes you happy. 

But the things that make us feel good in the moment aren't always what make us happy. In the pursuit of cheap thrills, we often lose ourselves. Because when the good things don't last, you have to ask yourself: was the chase worth it?

For Zane Harrison, the answer is no.
After living a life surrounded by everything he could have ever wanted, Zane no longer has any interest in the things he's indulged himself in day by day. Whether it was drugs, sex, or even simple conversation, it was hard for him to find any lasting sense of joy in any of it. With such an overwhelming sense of apathy, he can't help but feel that there may be an external force to blame. Perhaps it was something to do with the people who robbed him of everything, yet gave him back everything at the same time.
He feels helpless, until one day, he runs into someone like him. Not only do they share the same dullness in their eyes, but their lives were forever changed by the same company: SoulTech. Even though she's their property, he can't just ignore her.

Godslayers is about correcting a mistake. A mistake made by three kid geniuses who inherited a Corporate Technology Empire. These suits made the soldiers of the future nearly invincible, while giving them destructive abilities of such raw power and precision that conflict was forever altered. Soulmates. The most talked about topic in the world. You can use a special pen to write on your arm. Whatever you write will appear on them. The ink is invisible to everyone, which makes it even harder to find your soulmate. The pen can change colours when the person writing is feeling a different emotion. Most colours have multiple meanings. The shade of the colour depends on how strong or light the emotion is, for example, if your soulmate is extremely angry, the writing will be dark red, when their slightly irritated, the writing would be a light/pastel red. You cannot write certain details to your soulmate, like your name, country, address, school, on your body. You CAN however, give them a nickname that only they can use. You may be wondering, how do you find your soulmate? Well, it's very luck based. You'll feel unnaturally drawn to the person. To finally find out if you're soulmates or not, you'll have to kiss. Once you kiss them, a beautiful bright light surrounds the both of you, binding your souls together for eternity. Kirishima is a bright and bubbly person who is rarely upset. When he IS upset, he doesn't write to his soulmate. Due to his... rough childhood, he never really wrote to his soulmate until the end of middle school. He constantly doodles on his skin but quickly wipes it away even though the ink is invisible and only he can see it. His soulmate, on the other hand, is a handful. Bakugou constantly writes to his soulmate about his problems. When he was a kid, he thought he didn't have a soulmate due to everyone else in his class talking to them as soon as they could write but his would never answer. Once his soulmate finally wrote to him for the first time, he was overly excited, though he wouldn't admit it out loud. He is usually angry so his writing is usually red but his soulmate doesn't mind. THIS IS A NO QUIRK AU AS WELL AS A SOULMATE AU!!! ARTWORK ISNT MINE!!!!!

This is a Zane~Chan story, based off of the OTP prompt where, if you draw on your skin, it will appear on your soulmate's and vice versa. It's also a high school AU, but not much of one.
