Rayne Dallas is a seventeen year old girl, who is famous from posting six second videos, on app called vine with her brother, Cameron Dallas. She is often called Ray by all of her best friends. She starts to like her best friend's brother, Jack Gilinsky. She learns that he likes her to, but he doesn't want to ruin their friendship if they go out and things don't end well.
