My mom said I was confused and immature.
My dad said I was just going through a stage.
I said it was love. Fucking love. No other explanation. But you see, I wasn't confused or "going through a stage", as my parents and everyone else said, they knew absolutely nothing. Sure this type of relationship was prohibited in our worlds, but still, I loved him, even with his bad side.
