You want to help him as much as you can so he knows he's loved too, and so he can feel true happiness from loving himself back as well. What starts out platonic becomes a romantic story that runs into the threads of deep despair with only a shred of hope to hang onto. What happens when things become just a little more complicated than a high school romance was meant to be? Will you succeed at winning his heart that you didn't know you were chasing after? Will you and Chiaki be able to save your friends? Will Nagito be able to save you? . . . This book takes place during the Despair Arc and later books continue in chronological order of the series installments. Credit to Team Danganronpa, Spike Chunsoft, Kazutaka Kodaka, and all the other makers of Danganronpa. Also credit to all of the original owners of the pictures AND videos seen or mentioned in this fanfiction. None of this is mine aside from the changed parts of the story's plot. Merry Christmas 12/25/2018! I'm starting this story today as a Christmas present to the Internet because everyone deserves a Nagito story!

Travis Neresa the Ultimate Gaming Prodigy wakes up in this strange school called Hope's Peak High, A school for gifted students. After meeting his fifteen classmates, the headmaster Monokuma reveals to each of the students that they all are a part of a killing game, to which they are forced to pick off their classmates one by one until either two remain, or they correctly reveal the mastermind behind this killing game and execute them. As soon as they enter the Institution a weird mist covers up their whole face and they fall to the ground, waking up in a school gym. They all look at each other with confusion, little did they know, a killing game was about to start.

Another killing game.... another bunch of students.... another story of murder and betrayal and deceit.... But this time.... Something's different. When Benshirou Kuwahara woke up in the courtyard behind a mansion, he didn't know what to expect. At first glance, it appeared he was being held hostage with fifteen other students with exceptional talent in certain skills, somewhat like himself. But the truth was much more horrifying than just a simple kidnapping. Monokuma, the supposed landlord of "Despairblood Manor," as he called it, was nothing but sadistic and cruel. To escape, one must murder. With this one simple rule in place, everyone's lives are in danger. What will become of the Ultimates residing in the mansion? How many will die? How many will survive? Will they ever know the answers to these questions, or will the bloodshed keep on going?

The 53rd class of Hopes Peak Academy find themselves is quite the situation, when the 77th class blows up part of the building. The world's biggest, most awful, most tragic event in human history started that day, due to that specific class. Well, that's what everyone thought at first. That was until Kokichi Ouma, the Ultimate Supreme Leader, reveals himself as a traitor, having lied about all his intentions. He had never cared about the others, but was merely acting. *Lying*. He was an Ultimate Despair, second to that of Junko Enoshima. But is that really the truth of the matter? A/N Hey, so I came up with this idea a long time ago, and I just decided to write it because I don't have much else to do. It's just a 'what if' scenario if Kokichi had been a Remnant of Despair, really. There might be some shippy stuff, I don't really know. If that's what people want, I wouldn't be against it or anything. I'm just, really bad at romance lmao. And also this'll be prey family friendly, with just some swearing. Because tbh I really, REALLY hate fan service based things? Yeah, that's not the correct term, but I'm pretty sure you can realize what I'm talking about. Disclaimer: All of the characters in this fanfic belong to the creators of the game Danganronpa. All credit should go to them, I am just borrowing them to tell my own story of my own Danganronpa ship. Also, this story isn't meant to take on canon Danganronpa plots, for example, instead of using Kokichi's D.I.C.E members from the official game, I decided to use Danganronpa V3 main characters.
