In a world that has ceased to turn are two sides. One being the Frozen Lands and the other being the Barrens. After years hundreds of years of conflict between the two nations, the people migrated from the borders between light and dark and to opposite sides of the Earth where contact was lost. Over time, the knowledge of the nations were forgotten by one another.
Our story takes place in a lone village on the Inland Barrens. Knowledge of the Frozen Lands rests in the hands of the village elders. Anyone else found guilty of holding that knowledge is punished with the Burning.
When a boy arrives from an unknown place, the first public Burning is attempted, revealing to some what the plans of the village elders really are.

Sanctuary
Sanctuary. That was what the quarantine dome was supposed to be, a place of refuge from the N-Gel and the deadly Neoplague they unleashed on the world. But we aren't safe here. Senna is uprooted from her rural life in the outer dome when her mother agrees to marry the President of Sanctuary.
