Dean suffers from a secret depression that nobody knows about. Cas is a dark kid with a "bright" future. Cas is an adopted kid. His parents want the best for him. Straight A's, scholarship, and a perfect kid. He goes to Salmon Ridge High and is in 11th grade. When the boys meet for the first time, their worlds collide. Cas is slowly falling for the Sandy brown haired boy. Dean feels differently. He wants to be nothing more than friends with this new found boy. This is my first supernatural fanfic so Yay. When Winter Graham moves to South Dakota with Sam, Dean, and Bobby, she finds out her distant friends aren't all that they seem. They're hunters of the supernatural, and now she is too. The brothers are stationary, staying at Bobby's, which means they have to go to high school. In Math class, Winter notices Dean has a particular interest in a guy named Castiel Novak, so she takes matters into her own hands, juggling hunting, homework, and a relationship that isn't even her own. Things work out just fine until an awry incident causes Dean and Cas to go missing after school one day. Soon after, a life-threatening trade may just cause Winter her life, but maybe it's worth it. This story involves Teen!Cas and Teen!Dean, so I suppose you could call it a high-school AU. The story is under major construction, so some parts are going to be a little jagged until i can go back and edit them. It's non-slash, but more on the fluffy side.
