No, it wasn't love at first sight. I don't believe in that stuff. It was love at first catch.

I don't talk to many people. Maybe my friends like Kat, but not to many other people. 
I'm short, Hispanic, and-not to brag but-multi-super smart. 
Andy, he's taller than me. Well, I wouldn't know. From afar, he seems shorter than most.  Kat says he's my 'perfect height.' Whatever the heck that means. 

So in a football game he majorly overshot. Who would've thought I'd be the one to catch the ball from the stands. Front row maybe, but me, I caught it!All Rights Reserved

COMPLETED I've always been the person that does whatever someone tells me I can't. Can't graduate with a four-point-oh? Check. Can't win a modeling contract without trying? Did it. Check. No one knew it, but her father was a high functioning alcoholic that often took his anger out on his family. With her older sister now in college, it had turned to her more often. Laying low in general was a good strategy. Across town, Ryan was prepping for his final year in high school. While he wasn't the stereotypical quarterback of the football team, he did fit into the popular crowd. His sports of choice included basketball and soccer, either of which might line him up for a scholarship next year. Ryan had a group of close friends and a lot of adoring acquaintances. It wasn't easy juggling his athletics and keeping the grades up, but he was just that good. The supporting parents didn't hurt either. It might be a cliché romance, but it will be fun to see what the year and beyond holds. ------------------------------------------ This is a story I wrote years ago, or at least partially wrote. My eyes brows furrowed from how good it felt. "Wha- what are you doing?" I breathed heavily. "What I've been wanting to do since the second I saw you." He grabbed my face and slammed his lips into mine.

"Good to see you again, Katiya Kate." This time he said it as if it were one word. It made me smile on the inside. He turned and jogged back towards his team. I was such an idiot.
