The only child of the king and queen was a daughter. One who had difficulties with pregnancy, as did the queen.

However, a male heir was needed and (Y/n)'s husband wasn't ever going to be given that roll. So, in an act of desperation, the king sends his only child out into the woods in search of an eldrich being at any cost.

Given the chance to finally get away from her family, (Y/n)'s willing to sacrifice anything to get away from her psychotic father, her ill mother, and her abusive husband.

If this heir didn't cost her life, she'd have no choice but to take her own.
