Annie and Cliff have been separated for 3 years, both thinking the other is dead. Cliff now lives in a teleporting tavern with the name "Fieora". And Annie lives on the outskirts of a town.

Annie and Cliff both used to have a home and a family, together. They were married and both believe the other is dead after their flying island crashed and died.
