Halo - Exile

This takes place in the Halo universe, I do not own any part of Halo, this is just a story that takes place in that universe.

At such young age a small boy was taken from his home. He was only ten years old. He was taken by Halsey, one of the first. He was trained and modified to be a Spartan, a warrior born into war, pure bred soldiers. He was trained to be leader of Fireteam Spark, a team made up of some of the best Spartans in the UNSC. Phoenix, they called him. Fireteam Spark included Mercer, everyone calls him Mercy. Mercer was the medic of the group. Rhino was the weapons specialist, always carried the big guns. Then there is Hawk, the sniper and pilot. He was the best pilot in his class and had some of the best aim, never misses a shot, well almost never. They were taken into war, war between Human and Covenant. They survived through skill and intellect. Killed many, and almost killed by many. But something is...off. Marines piled dead, but no plasma scorches or any Covenant? What could have done this, what could have slaughtered so many..?
