Twenty-four year old Octavia Shin had anticipated a very short agenda in Seoul. She was supposed to sign a few papers beside her PR representative, plaster a smile on her face, and then get drunk on the flight back to Los Angeles.

Yet, things had gone quite awry in a matter of minutes. It had taken a wrong car, two hours, and a killer hangover before she woke up in a box full of rotten vegetables in a deserted suburb. As she ventured into this unfamiliar territory, Octavia suddenly found herself at gunpoint by a suspicious soldier. If it wasn't for the fact that she was staring into the barrel of death, she might have even asked him out.

The worst part? Octavia didn't have a backup plan.

This is the short story of how Octavia Shin inadvertently and irrevocably fucked up.

50 parts Complete Mature
Avaline Baker is a young woman on a camping trip with friends when she decides to go into a museum that will change her life forever. Somehow transported into the future, Ava finds herself at the barrel tip of Nazi German soldier. Transported to their camp as prisoner, Ava is lost and confused as to what, where, and who she is with...the how part is the most antagonizing. Shortly after being saved by two American men, Ava discovers she's been placed at the center of World War Two. Surrounded by warfare and American men who have strict mindsets about women in the the 1940's, the 21-year-old feels like she has no hope of surviving. To even have a chance, Ava has to prove that just because she's a woman, doesn't mean she isn't capable of fighting to survive like the rest of them. Ava finds herself stuck in 1944, with "strange" technology called a cell phone, no way of charging it, and no way of getting home. In the midst of a gruesome and horrifying war, she finds herself questioning more than just sanity of the time period, but even her own. Hopefully, with careful and calculating steps, Ava will survive the blistering cold winters, the first-hand experience of a war, and developing a difficult bond with the men of 1st Platoon. --•--•--•-- This is a work of fan-fiction, which means I don't own practically anything. Except for Aveline Baker and some scenes. Will be based off of/follow the campaign. This work has content pertaining to difficult aspects of WW2 including blood and gore; swearing/harsh language; sexual/crude comments and actions; German POW camps; etc. Please DO NOT READ if you aren't comfortable or have too strong opinions on things related to WW2. It's a fictional story and, thus, should be treated like it. On flip side, there will humor. Especially from Zussman- we all like him. And don't forget moments from hardass Pierson...those will get interesting too. ;) ~Started on September 1st, 2018~ ~Finished September 1st, 2019~

"You say that you have a whole hell of problems, but you underestimate the hell I've been through," I murmur, as he tilts his head downwards towards mine. He glances back in forth between my eyes for a moment before taking my cheek in his hand. He brings his lips centimetres from mine. "We can walk through any hell the world throws at us," he whispers finally before presses his lips against mine. ~~~~ After Hailey Arrette Kane is found as being a second child to Coralie Kane, she is forced into the Skybox per her sister's request. Her sister, Arlo Riv Kane, managed to convince her dad and the council that she needed to die in Hailey's place, allowing Hailey to live just as long as she did but in the Skybox. After her 21st birthday, which marked her fourth year in the Skybox, the council made a decision. They were going to send 100 delinquents to the ground as an experiment to see whether the level of radiation was survivable or not. In doing so, they managed to sentence almost all of them to an untimely death that was almost inevitable. With the idea of freedom, Hailey knows that she is never safe and that if weaknesses are shown, someone will use them against her. Will she be able to overcome her emotional and mental walls, even if it means that she'd be vulnerable? Being on the ground will change Hailey in ways that the people on the ark would never expect. She will find a better version of herself. Hailey will become what she was always meant to be, a warrior. Guns, revenge and buildings to bomb, what could go wrong? ✮ He came in, gun held out in front of him in one hand while the other was resting on his hip where a sharp dagger gleamed in the light. "Come on out little girl, why not make this easier for both of us. The agency you ran away from just want to have a little talk, that's all." She scoffed internally. Yeah right. Then the footsteps ceased. She peeked to the right, then to the left. Neither direction showed any sign of the intruder. She looked up in front of her and gasped, the glint of steel and smell of death as overwhelming as it was adrenaline inducing, exciting. "Boo." ✮ Murder, accidents, assassinations. Call it what you will, it's all the same, all has the same life breaking, mind shattering consequences - be it for the victim or the bystander. It had shaped Alex in a way no one should be. Broken down and rebuilt into the perfect soldier, one who had the power to change the world, to fight battles that would either make or break the carefully constructed vision we all live in. The only small, minute, really unimportant detail - it's pretty hard to get into a government classified site when you're 15 years old and have a rag-tag team of double-crossing back-stabbers behind you. Not to mention the threat of a world war and ghost hanging above your head. Armed with sarcasm, wit, and a hell of a lot of aggressive intentions, it won't be too long till a sticky situation is all that's ahead of you. Sometimes, running head-first into a situation isn't the best idea. Instead, you gotta play a game. A deadly game where either you have all the pieces on the board, or you have nothing. He gave me yet another blank stare then turned, once again, to the water as if it was actually entertaining him. I felt frustrated as I huffed loudly to get his attention. He turned to me still with his bone-chilling stare. It was a cold stare but I still found my safety in it oddly enough. I stared at him blankly getting lost, forgetting why I came over here. I sat there as the raft slowly rocked back and forth. "Need anything?" Lucas said seriously. ••• Highest ranking: #1 in raft #1 in surviving #1 in trauma #2 in intense #3 in tearjerker Started: 3-17-19 Finished: 12-30-19 WARNING: MILDLY INAPPROPRIATE LANGUAGE AND THEMES
