Sequel to 'The Walking Dead, On My Own'
read that one first so you know our main character!
Lauren has been through the apocalypse alone, but now things are different and she has to face the obstacles that come with being a part of such a tough group; others wanting what you have and going to war like never before.
After Rick takes her in, lauren falls into depression and some worry about her state of mind as she's not as open as others. Even though she's proving her place in the group every step of the way some can't help but wonder; Except for Rick who believes you CAN come back from things. So he works extra hard to crack Lauren's shell, she's just a kid after all.
We get to see the younger generation come together within the group and become adults and learn from our fearless leaders. But what would happen if they never went to Alexandria?
"you just stick out to me, more so than the others." Daryl just looks at me and snorts.
"Whats that supposed to mean?" He mutters as he fiddles with some grass strands.
" I just, I admire you. that's all. You have depth." I say softly in the wind.
"Yeah well don't start following me around, I'm not your babysitter, kid." He grunts as he gets up.
"Hey I'm not a kid! I was alone for a year after this world shit the bed and I lived! you don't get to treat me like some kid who's had someone protecting them this whole time, like I'm a mooch! I don't need your protection, I'm perfectly capable of taking care of myself!" I shove past him.

This story will start off with terminus and go from there with the exception of the church, grady memorial, and the barn. If any of this favors any other twdfanfics, it's all coincidence as I haven't read much twdfanfic, so I apologize in advance <33
