What will a person do if something that they cherish the most and hold more valuable over anything else, is one day unexpectedly taken away from them forever, with no way to get it back? Will they sink into their despair and sorrow, or will they try to find a means to let go of it?
The answer purely depends on the person themselves. On how strong they are, on what their dreams and hopes are, and on how far they will go to achieve them.

Many people believe that sirens don't exist. It may be true, it may be not. But that doesn't mean that they never existed. They may still be living, hiding away from the cruelties of the human world for their survival.

My face Softens as I take in the sight In front of me. Crouching down I see the women peeking up at me with big blue frightened eyes. Her eyes Flicker between me and the doll in my hand. I slowly reach out the doll handing it to her, she flinches back her eyes squeezing shut in fear. I look back to my brothers to see them looking just as shocked. I turn my gaze back to the girl speaking to her in a soft voice as to not scare her. "It's okay sweetheart, we're not gonna hurt you" i reassured her. Humans are extinct...After a long war between fantasy creatures and humans, the fantasy creatures were victorious and executed all the humans, the fantasy creatures resided in Widow's Peak and are determined to keep control. The creatures went their separate ways to live in different corners of the country, having the vampires ruling it all. In this story though, vampires are going missing and it will cause creatures to fight against each other. Alliances are made, loved ones are lost and everything that each creature built is at risk. . . . "Call off this plan of yours immediately, if you choose not to, the blood and limps of you and your sirens would be floating in the ocean, we have more fighters, you're outnumbered" She scoffed and glared at me, "You land creatures believe you're so much stronger than us when you're united but not for long, Ketsuiki. Send all the fighters, witches and rulers you want, we'll kill them all just like we killed Myra. I'm only leaving you alive because you're Knight in shining armor will kill us all if you go missing.", she said in a serious and monotone voice as she walked back into the ocean, turning her back to me, while the sirens began to swim away. As she walked away, thoughts flooded my mind. I couldn't leave her unscratched, she couldn't walk away from me, The Queen of Vampires with no bruises or cuts on her. The Siren's Call
➖After her mother's death, seventeen year old Karis tries to drown herself and is mysteriously saved by a boy who assumed she was unconscious. But some things he says don't add up, and he realizes the consequences of his actions, since saving drowning humans is against the law. So he gives her two choices: Never speak a word of what happened and go back to whatever life she despised so much, Or Come with him to an underwater city she never thought existed. After choosing the latter in a risky gamble, both her and the boy might be in for more than they bargained for when they discover the city is under attack. Will they be able to save it and the people in it in time, or will following the boy be a big mistake? A Mermaid for the Lonely
A mermaid named Sirène, whose job as a mermaid is to guide those who have died at sea to rest their souls and not be trapped. She typically finds sailors whose ships have sunk, and pirates and convoys alike. Her personality is one of seriousness, and she does not express herself by facial expressions very often. She does sung lovely tunes though, ones of the sea and winds, not ones meant to lure anyone to their doom. She seldom spends time with other merfolk and prefers to be on her own. She is however very curious of the various emotions humans possess and their intensity, since she does not feel these. One day, while Sirène was staying near Pointe de Pen Hir, a dangerous cliffside that plunges right into the ocean. Looking upwards by chance, she saw a human, a man, standing dangerously near the edge of the rocks. The wind blew harshly and she could only watch and wait as he toppled over the edge and feel towards the ocean. She saw no fight in him as he fell. ________________________________________________________________ This is a fantasy story with my mermaid OC that I started making back when I was in middle school. I've used her character to help me through tough times and I am revisiting her. I want to make sure I have a place to remember her story, and make it a happier one than before.Lengkap

Monty, A shipwrecked fisherman, tells of a melody in the water; the same one Adaira sang to Lain the night she was taken. Gavin, the lighthouse keeper who found Lain that dreadful night, knows more than he's letting on. While working the apothecary shop, Lain struggles with grief and filling his da's shoes. It doesn't help that Finlay, Lain's unrequited love, is back in town, wondering what went wrong in their friendship, or that every time he plays his violin something goes wrong. Thankfully, Monty sticks around, though Lain is uncertain as to why. With his da's journal, mythical plants, and violin, Lain and Monty endeavor to enchant his siren to come home, and not drown in the process, whether it be by sirens, kelpies, or the caoineag. Everyone in this story has lost someone or something. Grief and healing are the heart of it all. It was, as the challenge goes, written in the span of one month. As such it has not been well revised and is less than ideal. Those who were taken... They never came back, dragged beneath the waves never to return. Their haunting screams were a symbol of their horrific deaths. Like shadows they lay in wait, the deep blue waters hiding them from view. With sharp claws they attack, Pointed fangs tearing into skin, Eager mouths devouring human flesh. Cally was taken, dragged under the water by one of the vicious creatures. But she was not devoured nor torn apart by ruthless claws--no. She was a captive. ~•~ Water instantly invades her senses. Her eyes sting, her lungs and nose burning. She thrashes, kicks, claws--anything to get away. Her efforts go to waste as her body slowly starts to shut down, the air in her lungs quickly being replaced by sea water.
