"Z please, it was an accident, I know you didn't mean to hurt me."
He was now backing away from me, trying to put distance between us.
"What are you doing?" I was confused, I'd never seen him like this before. Zaiden was always in control, never this vulnerable.
"Don't come any closer." He was practically begging me with his mouth, but his eyes glossed over with pain. He was seconds away from breaking, begging for my comfort.
"Zai-, it's okay. I'm fine. You didn't hurt me." I spoke quickly hiding my arm from him, it would heal quickly anyway, so it didn't matter.
