After the Waves devastated the Earth, modern society collapsed. Governments didn't know what to do, and much of the world's treaties and society's pre-imposed rules went out the window. A survival for the fittest. For Tommy, his life of gaming for hours on end was disrupted, and he couldn't go back. Days of screwing around on minecraft servers were gone, and more than half of his friends had either died or gone missing. My Promise To You
I had never felt this way before, I had never felt the immediate butterflies swarm my stomach as soon as I saw them, but this was different. As soon as the new boy and his girlfriend moved to my school, I only expected to get to know them both just the same as everyone else, but I felt differently towards one of them. But it wasn't the new girl, it was her boyfriend Clay... I was gay and it wasn't something which I hid, I often attended the LGBTQ+ club held at school too. However it just had to be that the boy I had fallen in love with was already in a relationship, I knew I couldn't mess it up, but I couldn't hide this forever.
