Mouseheart (A Smudge AU)

After Rusty's departure, a concerned Smudge attempts to find him and bring him back.
Through the unknown forest, he finds what he was looking for, only for him to so quickly abandon him again.
And when he least expected it, life had to throw another obstacle at him.
And as his vision grows black, the anger and betrayal leaves an irreversible mark on this naive kittypet, and the path paved out for him has many wild turns that won't guarantee his sanity
