May hasn't had the best life, losing her parents at the age of nine, recovering from her own injuries from the crash, going to live with her aunt, and her uncle being abusive. It wasn't good and she hated it but when she and her family move to Santa Carla after her aunt divorces her uncle, things feel different better almost, and the feeling only grows when she meets them.
