Once every 200 years, a secret meeting is held at the isolated Chateau de Grimm, hosted by a clan of ancient vampires. Immortal and magical beings are summoned together in order to discuss the state of the world, and its human inhabitants, with a goal to only subtly influence, indulge and oversee, without being detected.
However, after the last meeting ended in violence and war amongst the strongest species, all are surprised when the Lord of the Chateau calls the next meeting 100 years too early.
